There hasn't been much going on lately, as you can see by the lack of posts. The weather has been gross for a while, so I haven't been able to get out and do much. Ryan made it safely back from Australia and came to visit this past weekend. It rained all weekend, so we ate Lou Malnatis deep dish pizza (don't tell Pizza Hut) and watched a lot of movies.
As soon as the weather clears up, I'm hoping to head to the farmers market. The Green City Market is open year round, but is located indoors until April. I can't wait to buy fresh fruits, veggies, and flowers! I'm also looking forward to taking a cooking class in a few weeks. I think Ryan is even going to come with, the theme for the session is "Date Night" :) I was watching Rachael Ray the other day, and she was explaining that usually people are usually good at either cooking or baking. Bakers are really good at following instructions and using precise measurements, and cooks just "add a little of this, a pinch of that". I guess that means I am more of a cook. Anyone surprised?
Thanks for the congrats! I'm sure once it's nice again you'll be running. I would love to live in Chicago. Sounds like you're having a good time... a cooking class would be so much fun. I'm pretty sure I'm a baker!
